She-Hulk Trailer Confirms Meta Marvel Easter Egg

We’re just a few weeks away from the movie premiere She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the newest TV series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show seems to be inspired by many corners of the Marvel Comics canon, with some pretty deep cuts and unexpected characters. Along the way, the show’s marketing hinted at a lot of items from different Strong woman Comics, with the second trailer for the show debuting what may be one of the most popular Marvel Easter meta eggs to date. The trailer briefly shows a law practice office in Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzburg, and Holliway filled with briefcases full of comics, with some issues presented up front.

This is pulled straight from the Dan Slott-penned track Strong woman, which saw Jen join GLKH on her mission to represent cases related to superheroes in court. Part of GLKH’s offices includes a research division called Long Boxes, where lawyers can use past superhero comics as evidence in a court case (because the Comics Law Authority’s seal technically makes them a legal document). This allows for plenty of fun and silly meta-moments in the series, both with She-Hulk itself and the larger Marvel universe, so it will be interesting to see how the show goes like this.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complex life of a single 30-year-old lawyer who happens to be a powerful green hulk at 6 feet 7 inches tall. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segara, Jamil Jamil, John Bass, and Renee Elise Goldsbury. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Luis de Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Cuero, and Jessica Jau. The co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.
